Our acroymn helps to define our team and our mission. Each “team” or letter are vital to keeping the team intact and running efficiently and effectively for a common purpose.

The “A” Team

The ASA’s executive branch boasts four executive directors, who work in tandem with the co-presidents in the planning and coordinating of the association’s upcoming year. These executives all direct teams of hardworking student volunteers to plan the events and execute the strategies that ensure the short term growth and long term success of the ASA. The cohesion created with these groups creates our “A Team”.

 The “S” Team

The UWASA understands that students want to meet their academic and professional goals. But of equal importance is being part of a community. That’s why our co-presidents Andrew and Kristina make a point of taking time to get to know the students involved in the association and all over campus. Whether this is meeting for a coffee to discuss the association, offer help with academics, or provide students with personal networking opportunities, they are always available. All you need to do is send them an email.

The “A” Team

The final outcome of the ASA is to be as our name states, a true association. We exist as students who share a common goal and purpose. To educate, engage and connect. We couldn’t continue to achieve this mission without the work of all of our teams. The link between our presidents, executives, coordinators, and all faculty and outside partners is the core of the association.
